The gorgeous lemony fragrance of this infusion will lift your spirits. Mostly used for digestive problems, it has other health benefits as well. The lemony deliciousness is reason enough to try it though.
Lemon Myrtle is also a wonderful culinary herb. It’s fab with chicken and seafood and beautiful when used in baking – add another dimension to your cakes and bickies.
How to use:
For drinking, place one teaspoon of herb per cup into an infuser, tea pot or coffee plunger, pour over boiling water and serve in 3-5 minutes. Add any other flavourings to your liking.
For cooking, use as you would other dried herbs. If the leaf size is slightly too large for what you are cooking, chop it up in your spice grinder or food processor to desired size.
